About Coach Fletch

Fletch is currently contracted by Takapuna Cricket Club as their professional Club Coach. Under his guidance in one season, the club had arguably their most successful season in the club's history.

The Premier Men's team won the 2-day Championship title, came 3rd in the T20 competition and made the semis in the 1day comp. Reserve Grade won the T20 title and finished 2nd in the 2day championship, and 3rd Grade won their division. This culminated in Takapuna winning the overall Best Club award at the Auckland Cricket Awards for the 2009/10 season.

Fletch also won Coach of the year at the same awards and the following Takapuna players picked up individual Awards:

Paul Hitchcock: Club Player of the year, as well as Most Positive Club Player
Greg Johnson: Most Improved Club Player, Player's Player Award

Fletch is contracted by NZC as a specialist Spin coach and facilitates the spin modules in the NZC Level III courses with Dipak Patel.

Fletch is establishing batting and spin bowling academies for June-mid August 2010.
